Tamir Shafer
TAMIR SHAFER

Tamir Shafer brings 20 years of Treasury, operations reengineering, and systems specialist experience to Montauk. His expertise in these areas has led to significant ROI across the projects and teams he has managed in the world of investment banking. This includes the management of global teams and projects, in London, Hong Kong, New York, and Tokyo. His expertise as both a cash manager and project manager allows him to identify areas of opportunity across all Treasury processing: cash management, debt management, banking relationships and fees, general ledger reconciliations, cash forecasting, and overnight liquidity investments. Tamir also is an expert in auditing a Treasury team's effectiveness in utilizing their systems and technology. Tamir has led several operations teams and multi-million dollar projects at Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, and Lehman Brothers. His teams cash managed up to $150 billion of daily liquidity, including the forecasting and funding of all of the company’s operating entities. Tamir became a Vice President of Operations at Goldman Sachs in 2000, after writing the functional specifications and laying the groundwork for moving the company from a mainframe to a distributed and global Treasury Cash and Projections System. Based in New York, Tamir holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University at Albany, State University of New York.



Bridget Meyer, CTP

Bridget Meyer, a nationally recognized treasury expert who authored the banking industry’s new AFP Global Service Codes TM, is responsible for the continuing development of Montauk's BRM services, technologies and standards, including its proprietary BankScore™ Global Bank Fees and Rates Index. Ms. Meyer began her career 13 years ago with the Financial Management Service of the U.S. Treasury Department. While at the Treasury, she reorganized the bank billing process for the IRS lockbox program; published chapter 3000 of the Treasury Financial Manual, Volume V, for government lockbox depositories; and assisted in the development of the first-ever online Federal Tax Payment System (EFTPS).  Ms. Meyer spent the past decade developing, facilitating, and promoting the Association for Financial Professionals’ (AFP) Service Codes Accredited Provider Program, which is designed to increase standardization in bank fee reporting.  The AFP program, still managed by Ms. Meyer, helps companies identify banks that have demonstrated a commitment to helping customers meet their bank relationship management needs. Based in Houston, Bridget holds a bachelors degree in Business from Southwestern University and earned her Certified Treasury Professional Certificate in 2007.



Michael Lenihan
MICHAEL LENIHAN

With over 40 years of commitment to the banking industry, Michael is a highly respected professional who has led treasury management products and services teams for US Bank, Bank of America, RBS Citizens Bank, State Street Bank, Deutsch Bank, and Citibank. As a financial services sales executive based both in New York and Boston, Michael has held progressively responsible senior sales and management positions and was the first and only Division Head of Global Cash Management at State Street Bank where he built that business line to over $100 million in revenues over 8 years prior to the division being divested to RBS Citizens Bank in 2001. Currently Michael is a board member of the Treasury Management Association of New England and Chair of the TMANE Advisory Board. He was Chairman of the Board of the New England Automated Clearing House Association (NEACH) from 2000-2002. Michael also has been an active member in the Association of Financial Professionals for over 30 years (NCMA, TMA, AFP). He was a member of the Canadian Cash Management Association and earned his CCM certification in 1984 and has held National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) licenses 6, 26 and 64.
